The first step to using the Aquamonitor for
monitoring tanks is to install the sensor. Installation is easy and
requires a few commonly available
tools.
Depending on your tank style, find a location to
fit the sensor. It is preferable to locate it away from a wall and away
from the inlet pipe.
Drill a 50mm hole in the tank lid, or in a
removable portion of the tank lid.
For sloping surfaces orient the sensor along the
slope so that the angle can be adjusted. Mount the sensor head using
the P clips supplied. Adjust the angle of the head using the
in-built spirit level and tighten the screws.
Next, fold the sensor body over the
head and
secure the body to the tank using the four screw holes in the sensor
body. The sensor body has an in-built seal that
mounts against the tank.
Fit the batteries into the lid and clip the lid
onto the sensor. The LED. indicator will flash every minute to
indicate normal operation.
