The wireless Tank
Sensor can be mounted at the top of a water tank or at the tank outlet.
A sensing tube is used to
monitor the water level. Changes in level are used to compute
changes in volume and water consumption. The Tank Sensor also has
the ability to detect inflows such as rainfall where water enters
the tank.
The unit has been
designed for ease and flexibility of installation, and for weather
resistance. The mounting bracket is designed to allow fitting the
sensor at an angle for
mounting on a sloped roof of the tank. A rubber gasket is provided
to maintain the tank seal..
Data is periodically sent from
each Tank Sensor to the
Display Unit using a wireless connection. The data includes unique codes
so that the display unit only processes data from a specified tank.
This allows up to three tank sensors to be used with one display unit and
ensures privacy from Aquamonitor systems installed on adjacent properties.
